About the Program
Are you creative and enjoy working with people? In the Bachelor's program in Occupational Therapy, you learn to advise and support people in shaping their lives as independently and self-determinedly as possible.
Occupational therapy places human activity at the center of its work. As part of the program, we provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to work as an occupational therapist in a client-centered and everyday-oriented manner.
The Bachelor's program in Occupational Therapy is the first of its kind in Baden-Württemberg. It includes dual qualification: the academic degree Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and state recognition as an occupational therapist.

Your Career Prospects After Graduation
Upon completion of your Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, many professional fields open up for you. You can work in outpatient, inpatient and complementary facilities or start your own occupational therapy practice. Your academic path could lead you to doctorate and habilitation.
