The most important certification rules for international documents
Your documents must meet these standards
Official certification
Copies must be certified by authorities, notaries or the issuing institution. The certification note must include place, date, signature and official seal. A simple stamp is not sufficient.
Sworn translation
Translations may only be produced by court-sworn translators. The seal must state „publicly appointed and sworn translator" and indicate the approved language.
Collective certification
For multi-page documents, the official seal must be visible on all pages. The pages are offset and stacked on top of each other and stamped — or bound together with cord and an embossed seal.
