Step 2 · Document Review & Preparation — Duration: 1–2 weeks
Your documents are the foundation of your application. We check all documents for completeness, organize certifications and translations.
What happens:
- Completeness check of all documents
- Organization of certified translations
- Review of university entrance qualification
- Preparation for uni-assist (if required)
Required documents:
- High school diploma (original + translation)
- Grade overview / Transcript
- Passport (copy)
- Passport photos (biometric)
- Language certificates (if available)
Result: Complete, verified application documents
Step 3 · German Course & Language Preparation — Duration: 3–12 months (depending on level)
German is the key to success. We arrange suitable language courses for you and accompany you until you reach the required language level.
What happens:
- Placement test to determine your level
- Referral to qualified language schools
- Regular progress monitoring
- Exam preparation (TestDaF, DSH, telc)
Language levels explained:
- A1–A2: Basics (approx. 3–4 months)
- B1–B2: Intermediate (approx. 4–6 months)
- C1: Advanced – University Entrance Level
Result: Recognised language certificate for university admission
Application & Admission
The path to your study place confirmation
Step 4 · University Application — Duration: 2–4 weeks
Now it gets serious! We prepare your application documents professionally and submit them on time to suitable universities.
What happens:
- Selection of suitable universities and programs
- Creation of motivation letter
- Compilation of application portfolio
- Submission via uni-assist or directly
- Tracking of all applications
Application deadlines:
- Winter semester: 15 July
- Summer semester: 15 January
- For uni-assist: 4–6 weeks earlier!
Result: Timely application to your desired universities
Step 5 · Receive Admission Notification — Waiting time: 4–8 weeks
The moment you've been waiting for! The university reviews your application and sends you the admission letter.
What happens:
- Review by the university
- Receipt of admission letter by mail
- We explain all the details to you
- Decision if you receive multiple acceptances

- Confirmation of study place
- Enrollment information
- Deadlines and next steps

Visa & Finances
Meeting the official requirements
Step 6 · Blocked Account & Health Insurance — Duration: 1–2 weeks
For the visa, you need to prove your financial security. We help you set up a blocked account and choose the right health insurance.
Blocked Account:
- Currently required: 11.904 € per year
- Monthly payout: 992 €
- Provider: Expatrio, Fintiba, Deutsche Bank
- We help with account opening
Health Insurance:
- Mandatory for all students
- Public or private possible
- Cost: approx. 110–120 € / month
- We advise on the best options
Result: Proof of finance and insurance coverage secured
Step 7 · Visa Application — Duration: 4–12 weeks (depending on the embassy)
With all documents in hand, you now apply for your student visa at the German embassy in your home country.
What happens:
- Compilation of all visa documents
- Appointment booking at the embassy
- Preparation for the interview

How long does the entire process take?
The entire process usually takes 6–12 months, depending on your current language level and the embassy's processing time. We recommend starting at least 8–10 months before your desired start of studies.
Can I start without German knowledge?
Yes, absolutely! Many of our students start from zero. We arrange suitable language courses for you and support you until you reach the required level. Depending on intensity, you can reach B2/C1 in 8–12 months.
How much does the blocked account cost?
Currently, you need to prove €11,904 per year in the blocked account. €992 of this is released monthly.
What happens if my visa is rejected?
In case of rejection, we analyze the reasons together and prepare a new application. Thanks to our careful preparation, rejections are very rare.
Do you help after arrival too?
Yes! We offer pickup service, apartment handover, accompaniment to authorities, bank account opening, and 24/7 emergency support.
