About the Program
Drawing with passion. Thinking in images. Creating messages. Designing sketches, discovering your personal stroke. In the Illustration bachelor's program at SRH Berlin, you'll learn to apply your own drawing style professionally.
A picture says more than a thousand words and is the central communication medium in the B.A. Illustration program. Here you'll learn to tell stories through drawing and convey messages through images. You develop an understanding of the interplay between image and text and learn methods and techniques of research, conception, and visual implementation.
Building on the fundamentals of storytelling, you develop your own work across the most diverse areas of illustration – from comics, posters, and magazine design to character design, concept art, and short animated films. By working with real clients, you gain early insights into professional practice.
